November 12, 2011 at 12:25 am (12 years ago)I LOVED your book, Rae! And I’m so happy to hear there’s more Lord Hector in book 2~~ XDDD He definitely stands out as an awesome, likable character, though I have to say I kind of like that he and Elisa have a very strong but platonic, mutually respectful (and respectING) relationship–proof that men and women can acknowledge and like each other purely as people/not as potential mates? 😀 Well, whether you go down that path or not, I’m sure I’ll still enjoy the story hugely. Your writing is so amazingly lush and seasoned… hope you’ll eventually do a blog post on your writing career. I’d love to learn how to get to your skill level!
P.S. Not to spoil anyone who surfs on here who hasn’t read the book, but… how could you kill off my poor XXXXXXXX??? ;__; After that, I held my breath for the entire rest of the book, waiting for the other shoe to drop/a miraculous resurrection to occur. And it didn’t… ;__; *cries a river*
